Membership of Studentlund

Studentlund is a cooperation between the Academic Society and the unions and nations at Lund University, that combines the benefits of Lund’s student life through one membership. As a member, you gain access to housing, clubs, theatre, scholarships, discounts and much, much more.

If you’re already a member of Studentlund, you can choose to continue your membership each term by paying your invoice. Click below to log in to ‘My membership‘.

Please note that last term’s acceptance codes do not suffice for registering. Contact your union or a nation, and they should be able to help you in becoming a member.

To become a member you will need to do the following:

1. The first thing you need to do is to register at the following page. To register you will need your application code and your social security code. If you don’t have a Swedish social security code (ex 850505-0505) you use the Ladok-number that you get from the University. The Ladok-number consist of your birth date and four more digits (ex 850505-T505). Your application code is found on your University application or Letter of Acceptance. If you don’t have this information avaiable, please visit the nation of your choice during opening hours.

2. When you are done with step 1 you will be able to choose which nation you want to become a member of. Please visit the nation of your choice and do not hesitate to contact the hosts for new students (Novisch-hosts). They will help you and answer all your questions.

When you visit your Nation your Letter of Acceptancewill be checked. This proves that you have got your final acceptance to the University of Lund. After this you will get your membershipcard.

General terms of the TRF (Terminräkningsföreningen)

1. An overview
- 1.1 You pay your membership to your student union and/or your nation through TRF. Each union and nation has byelaw that determine if are qualified to be a member or not.
- 1.2 The membership fee is not mandatory and you can, if you decide so, choose not to pay the bill from TRF. TRF does not refund the membership fee.
- 1.3 Before you pay a bill from TRF you should always check the preprinted data. If it is incorrect you should contact your union or nation. You can also change the data yourself at the self-service portal ”My membership”
- 1.4 When paying through bankgiro or an Internet bank, always use the OCR-number that is preprinted on the bill.
- 1.5 If you are studying more than one program/course you should pay your membership fee to the union that monitors the program/course that you intend to major in
- 1.6 When you finish your studies at Lund University you can discard any bill that you get from TRF. You do not have to unsubscribe your membership, just stop paying the bill.
2. Register via Internet
- 2.1 New students can register for membership on the Internet (www.studentlund.se). Only those that are accepted for studies at the University of Lund in the first and second draft are allowed to register.
- 2.2 To get the membership card the student must get the final Letter of Acceptance and present it when visiting a union or a nation.
- 2.3 If a person that has registered fails to get the final Letter of Acceptance at Lund University or if the student has not proved the Letter of acceptance at a visit to the union or nation, the paid membership fee accrues TRF. This visit must occur before December 30 for the autumn semester and June 30 for the spring semester.
3. Personal data
- 3.1 TRF, organizational number, 845003-1813, handles all personal data as social security number, name, address, phone numbers and information about payment.
- 3.2 Responsible for handling the personal data is the board of TRF.
- 3.3 The handling of personal data is legally regulated and is needed for the regulated activities within TRF and its membership organizations. The purpose is to be able to supply services as administrating, billing, customer service, analyzes, development, information, marketing and to meet legal and contractual obligations and/or decisions obtained from public authorities
- 3.4 Membership information can be dispensed to collaborating companies and authorities. This information can be sent printed and/or electronically.
- 3.5 You have the right to, however not retroactive, announce that you do not desire to receive consignment from collaborating companies, through written notification to TRF or someone of TRF’s member organizations. If nothing has been announced it is interpreted that your payment is an approval to the above treatment of your information.
