Lunds Akademiska Cheerleadingförening
Lunds Akademiska Cheerleadingförening is Sweden’s second university cheerleading team and aims to bring students together in Lund and practice cheerleading! Every year in September, we have a tryout and admit about 35 new members to either of our two teams: Lions or Cubs. Lions is our competing team, which performs at events here in Lund as well as takes part in national- and international competitions. Cubs is our development team, practicing at a slightly lower level but still attending events and smaller competitions in Sweden.
The teams consist of people from almost every faculty of the university, and both Swedish and international students are very welcome! No previous experience is needed (though meritorious for Lions), and being part of a team is a fantastic opportunity to get to know new people as well as practice an exciting sport.
